FAKE: Image circulating online of former IEBC chairperson is distorted

A reverse image search conducted by Eastleigh Voice indicated the original image belongs to MP Shah Hospital, with a different patient.
An image that has been doing rounds on Social Media purporting to be that of former IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has been distorted.
In the distorted image, it shows Chebukati being attended to by a nurse, as he lies on the bed.

The image has been shared by several social media pages including bloggers, with captions such as:
“Chebukati was airlifted to Germany for medical treatment.”

From the hospital's website, the image was captioned: “MP Shah Hospital is committed to excellent patient care, recognizing the special relationship among nurses, providers, and their patients.”
Further from the search, the image was also shared on May 5, 2020, by Medium, a blog post under an article dubbed “The truth about money that we don’t want to hear,” And several other websites have picked the original photo.
